Terms of service
Civetta helps you turn your résumé into a CV in the European format. By using it you accept these terms.
Who provides the service
Civetta is provided by Antonio Morlino, Via Arrigo Benedetti, 13 - 00159 Roma (RM), Italia, VAT IT04060650712, contact dev@antoniomorlino.com.
The service
You can upload a CV, which is read automatically by an artificial intelligence system and split into sections; then you can edit it, add a photo and signature and download it as a PDF. You can also create an optional account to find your CVs on every device; you delete it whenever you like, with every CV, from the "Account" window. Today the service is free; if some features become paid in the future, price and conditions will be stated clearly before purchase.
Always check the result
The automatic reading can make mistakes: leave out or move information, misread dates or titles. Before using the PDF you must read it through and correct it. You are responsible for what the CV you send says.
What you can upload
- Your own CV, or someone else's only with their permission (for example if you are helping them write it).
- Do not upload unlawful content, content that infringes other people's rights, or content that is not a CV.
- Do not use the service in an automated or bulk way, or to get around its limits.
To protect the service we may limit the number of readings per person and per day.
Your content
The CV and the PDF remain yours. We acquire no rights over your content: we process it only to provide the service, as explained in the privacy policy. The Civetta brand, design and code remain the provider's.
Availability and liability
We do our best for Civetta to work well and be always reachable, but we cannot guarantee it: the service may be interrupted for maintenance or because of problems at our suppliers. The CV saved in the browser can be lost if you clear the site data or change device: download the PDF when you are done. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service; the rights the law grants to consumers are unaffected.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is always this page, with the date below.
Governing law
Italian law applies. For consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction.
